A cruise around Tromsø Fjord

We start this Tromsø fjord tour in the unique Arctic winter morning light. Admire the skyline as we cruise past Tromsø Island and landmarks like the Arctic Cathedral. You will get the best views of Tromsø city and the surrounding mountains from the seaside and have wonderful photo opportunities from the catamaran’s multi-level decks. You can also sit back and enjoy the fantastic views of the Arctic scenery from the heated lounges with panoramic windows. A Tromsø wildlife tour

The boat trip takes you to one of the most beautiful fjords of the area, Ramfjord, which has the peculiarity of freezing over in winter! We will switch to our silent electric engine and, weather permitting, deploy our underwater drone to explore the hidden world underneath the surface. You can follow the live views on the screens in the lounge area. Grab a pair of binoculars and try to spot Arctic animals like seals, sea eagles, seabirds and, if we are lucky, reindeer.

A tour of an old fishing facility

This fjord excursion will also take us past the powerful Ry tidal current, considered the best spot to go fishing around Tromsø. The captain will then dock on the island of Kvaløya so we can visit an old fishing facility. You will learn more about the fishing traditions in Northern Norway, get to see the famous drying racks and taste some local delicacies.
