The Fjellheisen cable car takes you from Solliveien in Tromsdalen to the top of Storsteinen, 421 meters above sea level, in just four minutes. From there, you’ll experience breathtaking views of the city and have a prime spot for witnessing the stunning Aurora Borealis – it's one of the best places in Tromso to see the Northern Lights.

The cable car ride, lasting about 5 minutes each way, operates on a regular schedule, departing every full and half hour. Each gondola comfortably holds around 28 passengers, ensuring a smooth and pleasant ride. If we can't accommodate everyone on the first departure, we’ll arrange an additional trip to ensure no one misses out.
