Rovaniemi: Family Snowmobile Safari

Enjoy a family snowmobile adventure where both adults and kids can experience the thrill of snowmobiling through glittering snow and forest trails.

Upon arrival at our safari office, you will be equipped with thermal and safety gear before embarking on the first departure, with adults sharing an adult-size snowmobile and children seated in a sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Enjoy a one-hour long tour led by your guide through the forest trails and frozen swamps. Upon arriving back to the safari office it will be children’s turn to drive on the mini snowmobile track for 10 minutes while parents  can capture the moment.

Suitable for all ages, adults require a valid driver’s license to drive a snowmobile, but those without can comfortably ride on the sledge.

      Please note
        • Duration of the program is about 1,5 hour. It is suited for adults as well as children.
        • In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
        • Adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
        • 2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
        • Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
        • If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
        • Mini-snowmobiles are suitable for children 4 to 12 years old.
        • Children under 2 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
        • Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.
        • The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€ per snowmobile, reducing self-liability to 150€. The optional insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
